The pepper plant

The pepper plant is a tropical, perennial climbing vine with aerial roots, growing up to 4 meters in height on the supporting trees or poles. The plant consists of wide, glossy, green leaves that are grown in alternate manner on the stem and bears dense spikes of white flowers. The berries are green when unripe and turn red as they mature.
