Jakov Fak

Jakov Fak the biathlon skier representing Slovenia was born on august 1st 1987 in Croatia. He started his career in 2001 and participated in a number of world championships at the junior level. He won bronze in his first major world championships in 2010 when he represented Croatia where he was the flag bearer for the Croatian contingent. He moved to the Slovenia shortly after and represented the country in major tournaments as well as the 2012 championships where he won gold in the 20 km and a silver in the mixed relay. He will be seen skiing for Slovenia at Sochi.
