Jantar Mantar

Built between 1724 1730 by the ruler of Jaipur Maharaja Jai Singh II, Jantar Manatar is an astronomical monument which measures time and also taps the movement of the sun, moon and the planets.It is a prime example of classical Indian architecture combining astute knowledge of mathematics and astronomy.
