Situated in the Jordan valley is the Dead Sea which is the lowest point on earth and the richest source of natural salts. The image of the setting sun on the waters of the dead sea is breath-taking. There is no marine life here due to an extremely high content of minerals and salts but it has curative powers and is known for its therapeutic qualities. The unique part is that you can float on the dead sea waters due to high buoyancy of water.
